Intensive In-home Services Program

(CD Site 736)

Intensive In-home Services (IIS)

Family Facets provides intensive in-home services, including intensive, short-term, home-based, crisis intervention services that offer families in crisis the alternative to remain safely together, averting the out-of-home placement of children. Family Facets IIS is based upon the belief that families can, through intervention, learn to nurture their children, improve their functioning, and gain support within their community to enable families to remain safely together.

Intensive In-home Services Program

Basic Services

Family Facets provides IIS services to Site 736 with the capacity to serve 6 simultaneous families for periods of 4-6 weeks, on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week crisis basis.  IIS services follow the Missouri Standards of Practice For IIS.  IIS services are based on a psycho-educational crisis intervention model and emphasize teaching skill building during periods when the family is in crisis and most amenable to change.
