Organizational Background

Family Facets is a Missouri Corporation (i.e. Tri-County Counseling Services, Inc.), and is a Certified Missouri Women's Business Enterprise.  Family Facets maintains its corporate offices, including the Business Office, at 701 Vandiver, Columbia Missouri.  Family Facets' Columbia Business Office conducts a Children's Permancy Services Program, multiple Training, Consulting, and Family Meetings services, Training Programs, and a Therapy Program.  The Columbia Office is the hub for Intake & Referral, Client Records Management, support services, and business services.  The Business Office also functions as the hub for vpn networking and video conferencing to all of our staff across the state, as well as a satellite support center for all of the staff with virtual offices in the area.

Family Facets also maintains a Business Office annex in Columbia, which serves as the 24 hour/7 days a week backup support for all Family Facets programs and personnel.

Family Facets maintains a Field Office at 121 E. Broadway, Sedalia, Missouri, which serves as a hub for our Over-Site Supervisor in the Central Missouri.  From the Sedalia Field Office, Family Facets conducts an IIS-IFRS Site operation (Site 736), and Training, Consulting, and Family Meetings services program.  The Field Office also functions as a satellite support center for all of the staff with virtual offices in the area.

Family Facets maintains a Field Support Office at 8 N Caltalpa, in Dexter, Missouri, which serves as a hub for our Over-Site Supervisor in the Southeast, and as a resource for area Intensive In-Home Services (Site 936), Specialized Training, and the Training, Consulting, and Family Meeting Activities program.  The Field Office also functions as a satellite support center for all of the staff with virtual offices in the area.

 Family Facets maintains a Field Support Office at 15723 B West Hwy 160, in Forsyth, Missouri, which serves as a hub for our Over-Site Supervisor in the Southwestt, and as a resource for area Intensive In-Home Services (Site 738 and Site 739), Specialized Training, and the Training, Consulting, and Family Meeting Activities program.  The Field Office also functions as a satellite support center for all of the staff with virtual offices in the area.

Family Facets will be opening a Field Support Office in Ozark, Missouri, which will serve as a hub for our Over-Site Supervisor in the Southwestt, and as another resource for area Intensive In-Home Services (Site 738 and Site 739), Specialized Training, and the Training, Consulting, and Family Meeting Activities program.  The Field Office will also function as a satellite support center for all of the staff with virtual offices in the area.

Service Record

Family Facets has conducted an Intensive In-home Services program under successive contracts with the Children’s Division for over 24 years.  Family Facets provides IIS-IFRS services to 28 counties, including all or part of 11 Judicial Circuits.  The Family Facets Family Training, Consulting, and Family Meetings services program is presently available all 114 Missouri counties with specifically contracted site services, and has offered FCS/TCFMA trainings since 1998 in more than 75 counties throughout Missouri.  The Specialized Training Program has provided services in more than a dozen other states, in addition to Missouri.  The combined Family Facets primary service area in Missouri extends for 256 miles east to west, and 341 miles north to south, with some services historically provided for every county of the state.

Family Facets Family has served more than 15,800 clients and trainees since 1997.

Sheila C. Searfoss is the President and owner of Family Facets.  She has served as the Executive Director of the agency since its inception in 1997.  Sheila also presently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Family Preservation Network, and is a national Trainer for that agency.
