Personal Profile
Michelle Graff, received her BA degree from Avila College, Kansas City, MO, in 1989, and her MA fro the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, in 1991. She received her Vocational Certification in Early Childhood Education and Development from Niagara-Orleans Education Center in 1985. She is the Director of the Intensive In-home Services (IIS) and the Family Reunification Services (FRS) programs at Gillis Center in Kansas City, MO. She currently resides in Kansas City, MO.
Areas of Services
Michelle Graff is provides clinical and case management supervision to the IIS and FRS programs at Gillis Center, Kansas City, where she serves as Director of the supervisory agency team. The IIS and FRS programs provide therapy to families, adults and children concerning issues related to parent/child conflicts, substance abuse, abuse and neglect, divorce and depression.
In addition to her other duties at Gillis, Michelle has provided over 100 training to agencies/organizations, including trainings on Critical Thinking skills, Chronic Neglect, Domestic Violence, Alcohol-Drugs and Safety, and Cultural Competency. She has served for 10 years as a Developer and a Trainer for the Missouri Children's Division Staff Trainings, and develops trainings for the Missouri Children’s Division Staff for the IIS/FRS model. She has developed specialized trainings, and has worked as part of the State Children's Division Training Unit to develop training curriculum, and continues to be actively involved in presenting and developing trainings.
